About Us

Have you ever wanted to weave a memoir from the threads of your life’s journey? Or, perhaps, compose a novella from a story unraveling in your mind? Maybe you’ve wanted to create a poem capturing the essence of your emotions as you witnessed a natural wonder unfolding. Has the voice of the writer within you become silent? If so, you may want to join the LWW Writer’s Club – a group of amateurs and professionals alike that share a passion for literature, grammar, and the musings of syntax. The Club meets once per month to engage in exercises & conversation that encourage creative juices to flow and develop. Through shared work we polish our own skills and broaden our perspective of how best to record our inner voices.

Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month, from 2 – 4pm in the Rosebud Room (lower level of the Community Center). All you need to bring is a pen & paper (or your electronic device if that is your preference) and a desire to write. Sharing work is always optional.
